The Retreat is an innovative service that supports people in crisis from across Surrey and North East Hampshire. It offers a safe and welcoming short stay environment of between 3-7 nights for adults aged 18 and over.
The six-bedroom property is run in partnership with Comfort Care and can provide an alternative to inpatient admission for some people. It offers a less restrictive environment than a hospital, and people can receive nursing and medical support from one of our Home Treatment Teams. The Retreat can be used to support people who would benefit from continued 24-hour monitoring and as a step-down option following discharge from an inpatient bed.
The Retreat is located in Knaphill, near Woking. The service accepts referrals, via SABP’s four Home Treatment Teams (HTTs), from across Surrey and North East Hampshire.
